Awards Dinner and Seminars attended in September

On September 2nd - 4th, 2005 the WORLD HEAD OF FAMILY SOKESHIP COUNCIL celebrated its ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS. Featuring the Largest collection of Internationally recognized Grandmasters in the World the annual event includes entertainment, dinner and, of course seminars from many of the finest Martial Artists in the World.

Grandmaster Marchetti was once again recognized for his contributions and achievements in the Martial Arts and as the Director of the Police Tactics Instructors of America. The rapid growth of the organization has resulted in the Police Tactics of America International Organization receiving an award from the Soke Council for its continuing commitment to provide police and the military with the finest training available.

As Director PTI of America and one of the foremost experts in control and submission techniques Grandmaster Marchetti is often asked to provide training and seminars to law enforcement and the military. This trip was no exception, as he was requested to be a guest instructor to the Counter Terrorism Rapid Response Team of CSX.

Sensei Marchetti attends Hall of Fames

Two of the biggest events attended by Sensei Marchetti recently are the Head of Family Soke Council Hall of Fame held over Labor Day early this September in Orlando, Florida and the Florida Hall of Fame given by Grandmaster Joe Williams this coming weekend in Ft. Lauderdale. Luckily, it seems that not even the weather can keep Sensei Marchetti in one place for long as he goes to give seminars, accept awards, and mingle with some of the most well known and respected names in Martial Arts.

Police Tactics of America International, in which Sensei Marchetti took over in the middle of last year, was given an Organization award by the Soke Council for it’s growth in members and seminars taught to police, special forces, and other individuals where these techniques are most needed.

We look forward to reporting to you about the Florida Hall of Fame when Sensei Marchetti returns with pictures, stories, and awards no doubt.
